Q&A with Max
Best advice you've ever been given?
John Lennon: "Everything will be OK in the end. If it's not OK, it's not the end."
Favorite superhero and why?
My favorite superhero by far is Batman. While we focus on other heroes and their "superpowers" Batman, though wealthy, represents a man without powers who went through tragedy at a young age, had to overcome his fears to fight crime in order to protect Gotham all while battling through his own internal conflictions of hero and villain. But the suits, cars, villains... And yes Christian Bale is the best Batman.
What is your superpower?
I have the ability to know a ton of useless facts that no one else knows.
Favorite Food?
Pizza
What gets you out of bed every day?
Being thankful for another day.
Any celebrity encounters?
Talking Husker football with OJ Simpson, meeting Franco Harris, Chad Smith RHCP, comparing my 5'6" height against Dirk Nowitzki's at a bar or talking boxing with Terence "Bud" Crawford at the Vegas airport.
Favorite place to travel?
Definitely Maine during the fall and going sailing again.
Best concert you've attended?
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. The Boss and I had a "Roman handshake" while he was performing Thunder Road.
If you won the lottery, what's the first thing you'd do?
Purchase a costume to hide my identity before I pick up my check.
Who is your celebrity doppelganger?
I've gotten Jordan Peele and Jordan Burroughs... and somehow Darius Rucker once.
