Froggy 98 (KFGE-FM) collected $41,217 in items and monetary donations for local charities in the station’s 2nd annual Christmas Charity Chase. This record-breaking grand total for the station’s Christmas charitable promotion more than tripled the previous year’s donations.
Five local charities were selected, then each charity had the opportunity to hand pick the on-air staff who would represent them in the competition. The “Charity Chase” was sponsored by John Henry’s Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical, who once again donated an extra $1,500 to be split as a bonus for each team’s charity in the order they placed.
