Brooke Summers Hosts CBS’ Country Labor Day Weekend

NRG Media is proud to share radio personality Brooke Summers (mornings KBBK-FM/afternoons KFGE-FM) has been named host of CBS’ Country Labor Day Radio Special, airing live over Labor Day weekend.

Summers has been making a big splash in the country radio industry since joining NRG Media Lincoln / Broadcast House Media in 2021. In addition to this upcoming endeavor with CBS Radio, Summers has been featured as a two-time voiceover announcer for the Academy of Country Music Awards, nominated as Country Aircheck Awards’ New Face of Country Music and attended CRS as a Rusty Walker Scholarship recipient and spoke on a Women’s Mentoring Breakfast panel.

“I’m thrilled to be part of CBS’ expanded music programming special!” remarks Summers. “Labor Day & barbecues would not be complete without country music.”

CBS Radio Executive Editor Jennifer Brown shares in her excitement, “Brooke knows country. We can’t wait for listeners across the country to hear her show.”

The three-hour show, featuring music by Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and other surprise highlights from today’s hottest country music stars, can be heard on multiple stations nationwide. Froggy98 (KFGE-FM) will air the special on Friday, August 30th from 3-6pm, and Monday, September 2nd from 6-9am. Listen live from anywhere via the stream at froggy981.com.
